Trump Calls Abdul El-Sayed “Muslim Brotherhood.” Here’s the Record.

By Mike Dean,

President Donald Trump called Michigan U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed a "member of the Muslim Brotherhood" at a press gaggle in Bullhead City, Arizona, on October 14, 2026. Mike Dean of the Daily Rumble responds: what the record shows about El-Sayed, the 2012 election in which Mohamed Morsi became Egypt's first democratically elected president after Hosni Mubarak was forced out, and the July 3, 2013 military coup that brought Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to power. Plus why Mike backs Brian McGinnis, the independent write-in candidate for North Carolina's 2nd Congressional District (brianmcginnis.org).

"Look bro, just because Donald Trump continues to say something over and over again doesn't make it true. Here's the simple fact of the matter. Abdul El-Sayed has never been a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. There is no evidence anywhere, and I have done exhaustive searches trying to find any link to him and the Muslim Brotherhood. The best thing that they have is Hibb's half-sister a dozen years ago making a Facebook post about MB. It doesn't even say Muslim Brotherhood, it just says MB, and that they supported MB in Egypt. Maybe that's Muslim Brotherhood, maybe it's Mohamed Basam. Who knows? But the simple matter is that he has never said that he's a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, and even if he was, they are not a designated terrorist organization in the United States. They have never committed terrorism in the United States, and they are a political movement in Egypt to have democracy. And they won a fair and free election after finally throwing out their dictator Hosni Mubarak, and then the United States and Israel had them all decapitated and put in another dictator named Sisi. So even if he was Muslim Brotherhood, they're fighting for democracy, so who cares? So what? Shut up, move on, vote for Abdul El-Sayed, let's get money out of politics, let's get no more wars, and let's get Medicare for all. I'm with that all day long. And I'm also with Brian McGinnis over in North Carolina because he says the exact same things. He is the Marine Corps who had his arm broken in the Senate screaming, "No one wants to fight for Israel," so please, go support him because Abdul El-Sayed's got all the support, all the fame. Brian doesn't. Go support him. BrianMcGinnis.org.
